Poem: Sun’s Last Day

Bright house flares
 the last sun’s glares
  a year’s light dares

Night blue sky
 blinding contrast
  cranes stalking thinly

Tearing clouds
 spilling paint
  leaking ocean

Groaning chord
 crying horns
  clinging sigh

Morning’s turn
 eighteen-score
  end beginning

Sun setting at Inchinnan
